How do I indicate my listing is not available?

There are two ways to indicate that your listing is not currently available. Which one you choose depends on whether your unavailability is temporary or indefinite.

Option 1 — Set your availability dates

Use this option if you know when you will be available again. For example, if your room is occupied until a specific date.

  1. Click Dashboard in the navigation bar at the top of any page.
  2. Click Edit Listing.
  3. Update your availability dates to reflect when you are next available.
  4. Click Save.

Your listing will remain visible but will show your updated availability dates, so guests can see when you are next free.

Important: If your availability dates are set in the past, your free listing may be automatically deactivated. Keep your dates up to date to ensure your listing stays active.

Option 2 — Hide your listing

Use this option if you want to temporarily remove your listing from search results altogether — for example, if you are going on holiday or are unsure when you will next have a room available.

  1. Click Dashboard in the navigation bar at the top of any page.
  2. Click Edit Listing.
  3. Find the Hide Listing? option and set it to Yes.
  4. Click Save.

Your listing will be removed from search results and will not be visible to guests. To make it visible again, return to Edit Listing and set Hide Listing? back to No.

Hiding is not the same as cancelling. If you have a paid featured listing, hiding your listing does not cancel your subscription. Your listing simply becomes invisible while your subscription continues. To cancel a paid listing, see How do I cancel a Paid Listing?
